I wish to extend my warm welcome to you into the family of Peoples Education Society's P.E.S College of Physical Education Aurangabad.
I am very eager to be as Principal to this marvellous college.
I feel very happy to meet pupil teacher because it is ultimately you who will make our dream a reality. According to our emancipator, “The People's Education Society's objective is not merely to give Education, but to give education in such a manner as to promote intellectual, Moral and Social Democracy. This is what modern India needs and this what all well-wishers of India must promote”. Teaching profession concerns not simply with passing on information or knowledge but with awakening a desire to learn and provide means of learning. Education is something which makes a man free from fear, poverty, and conflict and gives birth to a new human being.
The college offers ample scope for students to participate in various games by providing them with good sports infrastructure, expert coaching and attractive incentives to players who get positions at different competition levels in various sports.
The college has eight-lane standard track of athletic and playfields for Hockey, Kho- Kho. Kabaddi, Badminton, Volleyball etc. These playgrounds, have nurtured inter university, state and national level players in various games who have brought laurels to the institute by winning positions at ICT, IUT, state and national level competitions.
Other facilities include an open constructed stadium named after our Emancipator “Bharatratna Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Stadium". Swimming pool and Badminton Hall, The Samrat Ashoka gymnasium Hall with an arrangement of indoor games to channel the students' energy so that they can make proper use of their leisure time. Subhedar Ramji Ambedkar sabhagruh (Rangmandir) for cultural and Recreational activities.
Students enthusiastically participate in intra college, intra university, inter-university and national level games like Boxing, Kabbadi, Hockey, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Badminton and athletics and bring laurels to the college.
Genuine concern of our institution is to ensure students Physical and Mental growth along with intellectual excellence. This empowers them to develop their self-esteem, self-awareness and self-confidence.
Our student population is multi-cultural and multi-linguistic, hence we teach students, the importance of tolerance and respect for each other's language and culture. Discipline, values and integrity are the foundation of this Institution. Our vision is to produce conscientious, confident citizens of India who will go out into the world and make us proud.
