P. E. S. College of Physical Education (PESCPE) is Located in the historic city of Aurangabad. The institute is the affiliated institute of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. The Peoples Education Society has established this institution in 1984. It is situated in NAGASENVAN Campus, a 200-acre spread over land of 22 acres. Its aim is to set up a standard in Teachers Training Education so as to provide greater opportunities to aspiring Physical Education Teachers and faculties so as to have an overall development of individual as well as of the society.
The intake capacity of the college for B.P.Ed Degree is 100 AND for Post Graduate Courses of MPED Ist year + IInd year 30+30 and for BPES (after XII th, Three Year degree Program) 30 students for each year.
We are under process to obtain NAAC Accreditation. We have set high standards in Curricular, Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular and Sports activities. We follow defined Student-Staff Ratio. We follow outcome-based education system and follow national standards.
The P.E.S. College of Physical Education (PESCPE) has played a very significant role in upbringing of sports teachers at school level and sports directors at college level to fulfil the requirements of the educational institutions, not only in India but in the abroad too. The institute follows the all norms of the regulating bodies. The institute runs totally as per the government norms and regulation. Every member of the institute follows the philosophy of the our Emancipator Dr. Ambedkar and implements their thought in spirit and actions.
The PESCPE offers ample scope for students to participate in various games by providing them with good sports infrastructure, expert coaching and attractive incentives to players who get positions at different competition levels in various sports.
The PESCPE has eight-lane standard track of athletic and playfields for Hockey, Kho- Kho. Kabaddi, Badminton, Volleyball etc. These playgrounds, have nurtured inter university, state and national level players in various games who have brought laurels to the institute by winning positions at ICT, IUT, state and national level competitions.
Other facilities include an open constructed stadium named after our Emancipator “Bharatratna Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Stadium". The Samrat Ashoka gymnasium Hall, swimming pool and badminton hall with an arrangement of indoor games to channel the students' energy so that they can make proper use of their leisure time.
Students enthusiastically participate in intra college, intra university, inter-university and national level games like Boxing, Kabbadi, Hockey, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, judo, wrestling, Handball, Taekwondo, Badminton and athletics etc. and bring laurels to the college.
